* WU XIA is a hit at the Cannes Film Festival

Donnie Yen’s latest film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 13. He also did the choreography. WU XIA was very well received by the critics, and should do well in both Chinese and international markets.

      * Celebrate World Tai Chi Day in Boston on April 30

      The Bow Sim Mark Tai Chi Arts Association will celebrate World Tai Chi Day on April 30 2011 with a free performance in Boston. We will be on the Greenway by the Chinatown Gate from 10 to 11 AM. We welcome everyone to join us for practice and to enjoy the performance by Grandmaster Bow Sim Mark and her students.         His latest movie, THE LOST BLADESMAN, will open April 28 in Asia. The North American rights have been bought by The Weinstein Company. LEGEND OF THE FIST: THE RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN will get a US release on April 22.

          * 35th Anniversary of BSMTCAA/CWRI coming up in July!

          Grandmaster Bow Sim Mark and the Bow Sim Mark Tai Chi Arts Association will be celebrating the 35th anniversary of the founding of her Boston school, the Chinese Wushu Research Institute, this summer on July 9 and 10. Plans include a open house in the afternoon and a banquet with performances on Saturday, and an open class on Sunday morning. More details will follow soon.
